Rep. Greg Murphy has represented North Carolina's 3rd Congressional District since 2019. Before coming to Congress, he was a practicing urologist. He says that he doesn’t want to harm seniors, but the real-world result of his proposals is a cut to their benefits. If Murphy’s efforts succeed, Medicare Advantage beneficiaries could face fewer benefits, higher costs and less access to the care they need.
